Bioshock 2: Why Do I Lose All My Weapons Except For The Drill, Camera, And The Hacking Gun?

After killing the first Big daddy at the beginning of the dynoisus park level where you have to harvest the Adam, i lose all my weapons except for the drill, camera, and the hacking gun. Is this supposed to happen? I have all the ammo for them and have them it just wont let me select it. I just don’t know what is going on with it or do i have to start the entire game over. If anyone can help that would be great thanks.

Find one of the machines that lets you change your plasmids and tonics. One of the tonics in the game increases the damage of the drill and also your damage resistance I believe but it prevents you from using guns. If you have that one equipped then remove it to get your guns again.
